About the host

Originally from Los Angeles, Adam Vanni is the co-founder of JARR Kombucha and an integral part of bringing kombucha to Europe. A dedicated kombucha drinker for the past 10 years, Adam set about learning how to make his own version of the healthy drink and ended up launching JARR. He has led close to 200 workshops over the past three years and is passionate about sharing his love for kombucha with as many people as possible.


What you’ll need

  • 1 x kombucha kit (to be purchased in advance here)
  • 1 litre filtered water (500ml boiling, 500ml cold)
  • 2 x unflavoured tea bags (green, black, oolong or white)
  • 60 grams granulated sugar
  • Glass jar 1 litre or bigger
  • Stirring utensil (spoon or fork)
  • Breathable cotton cheesecloth
  • Rubber band
  • A warm and airy space to let your kombucha ferment

  • 60–90 minutes.


  • Please ensure you purchase the kombucha making kit in advance of your class from this website.
  • You will need to allow up to 5 working days for standard delivery, or 2 days for express delivery at an additional cost.
  • Kits can also be purchased via amazon prime but you will need to purchase a 1-litre jar separately.
  • Please consider kit delivery times before making a booking to ensure your kit arrives in time for the date of your class.


  • This experience will be hosted in English.


  • Online classes are held over Zoom. You will be provided with the link prior to the class.

  • Please note that the start times for this virtual experience are scheduled in British Summer Time (BST). Please be aware and adjust the start time to your time zone if you are not based in a country where BST is observed.

JARR Kombucha Workshop BOOKING TERMS

These are the terms and conditions on which we, JARR Kombucha, The Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Ln, London E1 6QL, 09592509 supply the experience(s) to you. Please read these terms carefully before you purchase the experience. You can contact us by emailing us at info@jarkombucha.com.



1.1 Please carefully review the description of the experience before you book to ensure you meet any requirements. If you do not meet any specified requirements, such as minimum age, we shall be entitled to refuse your access to the experience.


1.2 The price for the experience is included in the booking process and is inclusive of VAT. Any other costs incurred by you in attending the experience shall be solely borne by you.


1.3 These terms apply from the time you make your booking until (and including) the date you attend the experience.


1.4 Purchase of a ticket means you consent to filming, photography and sound recording which may include you as a participant, unless expressly stated otherwise.



2.1 Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, resold or refunded.



 3.1 We may immediately cancel your right to attend and/or remove you from the experience at any time: (a) if you breach any of these terms (although for non-serious breaches we will first give you the opportunity to put things right); (b) if you breach any applicable laws, rules and regulations; and/or (c) you misuse or abuse the services provided at the experience, including by behaving in an offensive or disorderly manner. 



 4.1 To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the experience is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law but nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any warranty or liability which may not be lawfully excluded or limited in your country of residence (if any).

4.2  We accept no responsibility for any of your personal property brought to the experience.



 5.1 This contract is between you and us and no other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms. 


5.2 Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately.  If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect.


5.3 These terms are governed by English law but you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.


5.4 You can bring legal proceedings in respect of these terms in the English courts. However, as a consumer you can bring legal proceedings in respect of these terms in a court with jurisdiction according to the laws of your country of residence.
