'What is Tea' Masterclass

Choose a Date

  Available     Full     Unavailable

 In a nutshell

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but for many millions of people there’s nothing that hits the spot quite like this hot, herbal and most gratifying drink. In this masterclass experience, you’ll be walked through the true roots of tea, its deep complexity and six specific varieties: white, green, yellow, black, oolong and post-fermented tea.

Your host for the experience will explain how the very best tea – in a way not dissimilar to wine – is the result of meticulously curated terroirs, grown from the right kind of plant, in the right kind of climate, then blended to perfection.

Taste, discover and expand your knowledge of tea and the historic tea-making industry. By the end of the masterclass, you’ll have a new-found appreciation for the drink and the work that goes into every cup, from growing and picking to blending and withering.
